Short BIO – Karen Soper BSc., CNP

Karen Soper has been practicing holistic nutrition since she graduated from the Institute of Holistic Nutrition in June 2003.  She holds a Bachelor of Science degree and is a certified nutritional practitioner (CNP).

Karen teaches a Nutrition and Wellness Certification for Canadian Fitness Professionals (CFP).  Through CanFitPro, Canada’s leader in fitness and wellness education, Karen trains on three core pillars - nutrition, physical fitness, and wellness.  Bringing those components together, she teaches how to achieve balance, variety and moderation in all of life’s aspects.

Karen takes the personal approach to health and well being when she deals with common health issues and meal-time challenges.  She applies her life-long passion for nutrition, health and fitness, through her Gorganic - Wellness Education business where she provides structured, easy to use information on the basics of good nutrition.

Her former career as a business analyst and project manager for an IT consulting firm, provided Karen with years of time management and solutions design experience.  So in one-on-one sessions she introduces techniques for building optimal health into everyday life – to be practical.  Understanding what a busy lifestyle is all about, as a mother of three boys, and a frequent author and contributor to community organizations, Karen is happy to help guide your path one forward step at a time.

A firm believer in integrating mind, body and spirit to achieve balance and harmony, Karen thrives on helping all aspects of the whole person not only through nutrition, but through awareness of lifestyle choices and empowering people to take charge!
